I really like that chawan. I've been considering getting a Shibuya Deishi myself at some point. I also like a lot of Seigan Yamane's work as well.

This is actually a wan for sencha, around 3.75" in diameter. I have also seen this in Chawan.

Finally getting around to taking some pics of what I've got. It's not much yet. But I'm slowly trying to add some more.

Thanks. Chip I figured you'd like my kyusu. I like the momiji pattern as well and hope to eventually find a little more momiji teaware.

Sometimes you like a kyusu because ... it bears a Japanese theme that is personally special. Here, a simple kyusu from O-Cha which I use virtually everyday, inexpensive, bearing Momiji leaves.

And trying to steal the show, Acer Japanicum "Aconitifolium" with fresh Spring leaves from the garden.

Nice, is that a kyusu that O-Cha sold in the past because I don't see it on the site.

Yes, I noticed it is no longer on the site. I got it over a year ago.

This kyusu by the way can pour as fast as any I have used. It has a 3/4 wrap around screen.
