Anyone have any other green tea recipes?

I'm actually now trying to get rid of some green tea leaves that I have. I bought some HIME brand tea leaves over a year ago. I actually thought it was genmaicha when I bought it but turns out the packaging of the genmaicha box and green tea box is the same. I wasn't paying attention to the words. Frankly, now that I have some sencha from O-Cha and also green tea that my family bought for me from China, I don't want to be consuming the HIME brand green tea.

By the way, black (or red) tea is wonderful for making Chinese tea eggs, but green tea cannot be used because green tea is too bitter if boiled.

Any ideas? I don't want to throw away the HIME brand green tea.

have you tried green tea in a tiramisu? Obviously you'd replace the coffee with the tea. it's interesting.

Hi everyone. I know this is not really a recipe. But, I drink protein shakes every day. So i will throw a spoonfull of matcha powder into my regular protein shake and it adds a nice flavor and a good jolt of energy. Usually I make blueberry or banana flavor protein shakes, and along with the matcha in them...it is heavenly!!

LOL X2...

It did shock me a little because it has been my avatar theme for a few years and noone ever followed suit. I have around 30 pics of Fuji...mostly all with tea fields. A kind of lifetime supply of avatars. I too love pics of Fuji with tea fields.

I love reading english words in Japanese, words like ueterasu (waitress) or aisu kurimu (ice cream). I'll see them spelled out and I'll think what's that? Then I say it and hit it hits me and I always smile to myself. Definitely clever.
