I've tried Uji Matcha Kiku Mukashi, Uji Matcha "Kiri no Mori", Organic Matcha "Kaoru Supreme". Notice that I've been sticking to the moderate to low-priced matchas.

I don't know where to go from here. It's time to order again and, honestly, I liked them all. I don't have a well developed palate where I can taste every little detail of the matcha....like wine tasting.

What to do. Any suggestions?

It is hard if you are relying upon taste memory as it is short lived in the area of details.

You should do a comparison side by side of at least 2 different types at a time in order to capture the subtle differences. Comparing different grades this way helps you to appreciate the more noticable changes as well.
