I made a matcha shake the other day and it was quite interesting. I used two scoops of Kiri no Mori matcha, 4 small scoops of ice cream, and some milk (not sure how much). First of all, a little goes a long way with this stuff. I hit the blend button and not even a second later everything was GREEN! It was different tasting that familiar flavor in a cold beverage. The grassy flavors were quite overpowering while the sweetness of the matcha wasn't present. I attributed the lack of sweetness to my taste buds only picking up the vanilla ice cream which was obviously stronger in the sweet department. I think next time I will go with a little less matcha to make a more subtle shake.
