What you don't realize is that as soon as you post it, the first thing that happens is one of your competitor's takes it and uses it on his/her site. I've had this happen so many times, I can't count. I go to the fields of Shizuoka, take pics, and the next week a competitor is using them to try and compete with me. That's why nearly all of the images on my site have watermarks. This forum images - I imagine they'll show up on the latest green tea site in the next few weeks. |

I do realize that. But, I still find it annoying that a few dishonest people out there have the power to ruin it for everyone else. I want wallpapers!!!
I just went on flickr--they have a few pics that I came across, but doubtful they are as nice as the one's you and others have taken. I understand your position, and maybe I would do the same if I was in your shoes.
That being said... If I'm ever in Japan, and have the fortune to visit beautiful tea farms etc. I will take high quality pictures like it's nobody's business. And, I will allow everyone, and anyone to have free reign on them... Maybe this will put an end to the, lock the beautiful pictures of tea farms in a vault scenario which pervades the internet. |

Actually, official O-Cha hi-res desktops offered exclusively to customers through O-Cha would be cool...and a constant reminder of O-Cha. 
Just a few offerings!!!
Yeah, I see internet copy cats all the time...it would be an interesting marketing idea. |

It is annoying. It's the same thing when you go fill up your gas tank. If you want to pay cash, you need to go inside and give them the money first. Why? Because some loser drove off without paying and now everyone has to be inconvenienced by it. I hear you, but it's just the way things are. I once paid a professional photographer for photos, only to have them show up later on some one else's site. You start thinking twice about it after that happens.
That said, you could always shoot me an email and I would be happy to send you one, just let me know your screen resolution. |
