| Being a Miyabi and Matcha drinker... just ordered Deep Steamed Fukamushi. Are brewing instructions any different then "The Sencha Way"? |

For this selection, I tend to think you should try the exact same parameters and see how it turns out.
Generally, the only time I shorten up fukamushi is if I'm using a great deal of leaf to water, or if it is a shincha. |

| The fukamushi from O-cha can probably hold up to a longer steeping. But with my deeper-steamed senchas, I go for a 45 second first steep, followed with the same parameters for multiple steeps as used for regularly steamed senchas. |

| Every tea is different, and even every fuka mushi is different. I seem to go shorter for most of them. Both Ryan's and Fatal's responses are true for me. |

From your posts I'm thinking less than 60 seconds, depending on the
Fukamushi, will be using the Tokoname Black Teapot, it hold 11oz, it's not
as deep bellied as the suggested one. It'll have to do...bought tea instead
of pot!!!Tokoname Teapot Black |
