I have been getting a lot of different teas lately and am having trouble storing them all. My question is simple, does anyone know a place to get a bunch of cheap, plain, tea tins? or know of a good cheap method of storing many different kinds of teas? the best I could find were some tins for 1.50 that were about 2x3.5 inches. but i have over 20 teas to store (not all green)
any ideas?

Thats a lot of tins. My favorite tin so far is the $3 black finish tin from Rishi. It has 2 lids, and I've finally converted to just dumping the leaves in it without a bag. But, buying those tins would add up quickly $$. You might want to let us know how big you need the tins to be(how much of each tea you're trying to store).
I have a lot of teas to store as well. For many of my lesser quality teas I just double/triple bag them. If you get enough layers, they keep fairly well. But I plan on eventually working up a large number of double-lidded tins, perhaps all from Rishi. |
