Hello:

I have some Chinese green tea that I purchased this year. But, I am looking to do a trade.

Why? I have grown wary of Chinese green tea. This obviously does not mean that every bag of tea purchased from China is not in line with international standards in terms of maximum allowed levels of pesticides and lead.

But, since they do not have the oversight that I would appreciate, I feel it would be in my best interest to do a trade. One could certainly argue I'm being overly cautious.

If anyone loves Chinese green tea (as I do), I have 3 unopened bags worth a grand total of around 62.20. And then 2 bags that are open, but *very* well preserved. They are in upton zip lock aluminum bags.. I have a system where I only take out a little bit of tea as needed, so they should be in quite good shape.

It's a great deal, all that I ask for in return is a single bag of sencha worth around 30 dollars (including shipping). I'm going to feature this offer here first, and let it stand for a day or two. If I get no one interested I will search in other forums.

For details on what I have specifically and if you're interested, send me over a PM.

I'm discontinuing my buying of Chinese tea for the time being, simply because I'm concerned about it.

I will also cover the shipping to whoever I send it to. And, I will ship it nicely.

You seem to be a bit paranoid about Chinese tea - hopefully that paranoia will spread Twisted Evil

(some of merchants have raised their tea prices quite a lot...)

Like they say-- just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not really after you. Smile

Fatalitea, I'll tell you what... I'll take the "middle path". Compromise if you will... I can see how you only paying shipping for all this fresh tea is enticing...

Maybe you can make a slight compromise. Instead of paying the shipping, only pay for one bag of kabusecha. That would come to around 22.50.

Let me know.
