Tried a sample of organic Japanese oolong yesterday, thought that could possibly be something unique to add to the lineup. Well, it was oolong, but nothing special really. No wonderful aroma like the stuff I get from Taiwan on occasion. It was worth a shot.
Also got some organic gyokuro and what is supposedly a very high grade organic sencha, haven't tried them yet. We shall see... |

| Huh... I didn't know Japan made any oolong. Is there a lot of development in oolong production or is it more of an experimental kinda thing? |

I have heard of Japanese oolong, but never even saw a pic of one or saw it actually being offered.
Most Japanese sites that offer oolong seem to offer Taiwanese or Chinese oolong.
Very High grade organic sencha...always skeptical of the organic moniker on a Japanese sencha. Let us know how it is, Kevin. |
