Secret Sencha Agent Ryan , this was top secret for the select few who knew the top secret pathway . I think Maggie is worthy of this information, but you should have PMed her.
Well, now the word is out. I better preorder if I want to be near the top of the list.
Order now Maggie, or I will get it allllll. |

Merci beaucoup, Monsieur Ryan!
And as for you, Mr. Chip , do you REALLY think I'd let you GET IT ALL!!!???
Seriously, though, I really can't wait. I just pre-ordered two packages of the Midori, had already pre-ordered one of the Hatsumi, and have one package of the 2006 Midori on it's way. I am going to be in TEA HEAVEN. The Universe is very good to me, as ordinarily I wouldn't have enough available moola to do this, but I just happen to have a little extra right now. |

Kevin has told me that there is no Shincha Yutaki left for you. I got it all.
Well, I too pre-ordered 2 bags of the shincha Yutaki, and who knows, with a little good fortune, it may arrive next week, though that will be a long shot. |

WOW, I just opened my shincha YM, yesterday. The dry leaf aroma is absolutely incredible. It is life altering. I cannot remember smelling any dry sencha so divine.
I noticed it is a bit more intense than the YM I had a few months ago and will require scaling back a little, but Kevin told us to expect this. |

| I'm having the second (seems just like the first) steeping of my first ever pot of yutaka midori. I too was surprised at the relatively well-steamed nature of this tea. It seems pretty close to a normal fukamushi sencha. The flavor is reminiscent but different than fukamushi with lighter more of a grassy and kind of citrusy (I hate to use that word, its better than that) taste. Very different from all that guri I just finished, pretty much the opposite end of my probably still narrow-minded sencha spectrum. Definitly powa'ful stuff. And the color is amazing... This is really good. |
