Hi All and greeting from Italy (1st post need some info).
I'm just new here in the Forum and in O-Cha after tasting some of the green teas sold here at friend's home.
I particulary like Green Tea S300 - Daily Sencha, even in spite of Green Tea S410 - First Flush Fukamushi Sencha that taste "too much" for me
Here in Italy most supply for Green Tea comes from japanese resturants and little markets (the one I use for dashi & co supplies) that are more than often cheap chinese shops masquerading ad Japanese ones .
Quality and freshness of the product are FAR from being good, thought... I used to buy my supplies from Tokyo while my ex-girlfriend traveled back and forth to it twice a month, but now she settled in Italy and I started to check for Online.
My first attempt was on http://www.republicoftea.com. Please, don't ask me ANYTHING at all. If you ever buy there, please use the tea only for paper holding. Consume at your own risk.
After a while I moved to more "serious" suppliers and I must candidly admit that I tried anything but matcha (I'm not so fond of it yet).
During all these trials I found I'm a "sencha" guy. Genmay cha turns my stomach and Gyokuro is too sophisticated still.
I ended trying some Netto Sencha (from Uji prefecture) supplied by http://www.japanesegreenteaonline.com and while taste and packiging was very good customer support and communication with site has been terrible...
My next purchase will certainly be Green Tea S105 - Uji Sencha "Miyabi"
Have you some stories of "Hall of Shame" to share? maybe saving other guys pains and hassles?
My 2 cents.

| A few years ago, I had received some tea from republicoftea.com as a Christmas gift, and you're correct, it's not the greatest. |

| Miyabi is a good choice. If you like your sencha grassy I doubt highly that you will be dissapointed with this tea. I think Miyabi sencha is a fantastic sencha. As far as customer support, I think it is important. O-cha.com does a very good job in this department. |
