I purchased tea bags from o-cha (don't know which ones because I am at work and the bag just says 'green tea bags' - I think it was the Chiran Kagoshima Green Tea Bags. Came in nylon rectangular-shaped bag.)
Seems like I read someplace (and I can't find it on this forum) that after the bag steeps - remove the bag from the cup without squeezing it (the bag). Is this recommended?
Are there any other handy tips when brewing w/tea bag?

parislexi,
I will have to try these bags...I forgot O-Cha had Kagoshima tea bags...
It is virtually always wrong to squeeze a tea bag in an attempt to squeeze added flavor out. You are certain to have some negative effects in doing so including excessive particles in your tea and an overly astringent taste or an off, imbalanced taste.
Try a 2nd steep instead. And let me know how you like these bags. Thanx.
