| I'm curious about the teapots sold here on the O-cha website. I'm wondering if they are trully Tokoname teapots or just in the style of. The reason I ask is that they seem fairly inexpensive compared to others selling Tokoname teapots. Are these teapots handmade as the others are? It seems most Tokoname teapots sell in the range of $150 - $200 USD. I'm wondering why the ones sold here are much less expensive. |

They are authentic Tokoname teapots, we order them directly from the manufacturer. As to why they are cheaper here, that unfortnuately needs to remain a trade secret The only complaint I've ever received on one is that a customer thought it was too small, but this was because they didn't realize Japanese teapots are supposed to be smaller than Western teapots.
They are authentic, handmade, and of very good quality. |
