I am sleeping too much since I am drinking Sencha green tea. I am wondering if the milk would make me sleepier or is it the tea?

...Wow, you are the first person I ever heard of to be put to sleep by sencha.

The caffeine in sencha and all tea for that matter keeps my awake and more alert. If I drink too much it can give me a "caffeine buzz."

I suppose if you are adding milk to your sencha, which I would not, it is I suppose possible it may cause sleepiness. Try it without milk...or sugar and see what happens.

You have no idea how lucky you are! I can't sleep until half a day after my last cup! You must have a high tolerance for caffeine. Smile

I just read an article that indicates adding milk to tea reduces some of tea's benefits. For more on the effects of milk, I suggest reading "The China Project..."

I'm starting to wonder here "which" sencha green tea you are drinking. If you drink one of ours about an hour before bed, you'll have no problem staying away Wink
