It finaly came today, my dragon fly tea pot (So little and SO cute), my three green tea cups and my Green Tea Gift Set

I have to say I did not like the Kagoshima Sencha Yutaka Midori on the first infusion as much as I thought I would, it’s VERY strong and the after taste has me wanting a glass of coke really bad hahaha but the second and third infusion were a lot better, really dark green and had a sweeter taste and the after taste lasted only a few seconds.

NOW… the Uji Sencha Miyabi is GREAT. I’ve just drank my first infusion aftr seeping for 1.5 minutes and it was actually niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
Sweet with a really nice after taste. Can’t wait to see what colors bring with the second and third infusions. This tea tastes GREAT.

OH also…I woke up this morning not feeling so good and had a massive head ach, after 5 minutes of drinking my first cup of gree tea, I felt like I had slept for 24 hrs stright and my body changed %100 for the better and I felt amazing. If I feel like that after only one cup, I can’t wait to see how I’ll feel for the next month or so before I order more.
Very Happy

My first experience with gyokuro made my nose bleed, I have brewed it with thermometer 10g (2 tablespoons of tea), 60C, 200cc of water and I drank 3 infusions, I was amazed it was so diffrent from sencha, it was sweet, no bitternes it was vegetal with spicy notes and instant lasting aftertaste (it was an expencive gyokuro, the cheaper ones didn`t even come close to this experience), it got me so exited, turbo charged, I blew my nose and there was blood all over. Tea has effect on your body, everithing that is medicine in small doses can be poison in large doses.

What gyokuro was it?

I hope your nose doesn't bleed every time you have gyokuro...

That certainly is scary, Oni. Maybe there's a new product line in this:

O-Cha Gyokuro Nose Plugs™

Laughing

(Just kidding, of course; I think the flavour of gyokuro can be a little surprising when you're more accustomed to sencha. I recall being shocked the first time I brewed some myself.)

Moo, I did notice a perhaps caffeine-induced posting frenzy last night. Laughing
