Greenisgood -- I like your idea of timing with breaths and learning to feel the temperature by touch.
To me, tea brewing can be a meditation, and those little touches make the experience more intimate and magical.

i have never used any measurement devices like a thermometor or weight scales or even a timer, i do everything with my eyes. and i don't plan on using any of those items in the future, i like to be able to know i can brew good tea without any help i do use various kettles and i have no idea what temperature they heat the water too, all figured out by touching and looking  |
