|
|
I ordered my first Matcha from O-Cha.com last week, the Organic Kaoru... It was fantastic, so rich and creamy- truly a sublime form of tea.
Of course, being so delicious, it is already half gone, so I ordered the Kaoru Supreme along with one of the authentic Bamboo Chasen-Whisks (Thanks Britt, for the admonition against lower-grade, Communist-Fungicidal-Whisks-of-Death, in the thread below!)-
And I plan on trying the Manten Matcha in that beautiful black cannister next...
In any case, I give my heartfelt thanks to O-Cha, for introducing me to such a refined, ethereal Tea... |

I concur with Space, I prefer the O-Cha Organic Kaoru to the Matcha from the other vendor I have tried so far....
The other source's Matcha was by no means bad, but the O-Cha Kaoru is less bitter, and has this delicious unique taste.
Perhaps I will try the "Kiku Mukashi" and/or the "Kiri no Mori" as well as the Organic Kaoru next time. |

Considering your enthusiasm I have just decided to try matcha.
Kaoru Supreme is on its way, with Chasen (made in Japan) and Matcha spoon. (I already have a matcha bowl for a long time).
They should arrive in a few days. I will post here my impressions (and probably ask advice from the matcha addicts). |

| I am definately jumping on this train. I have had matcha and always like it. I have heard only positives about your matcha, Kevin, not just here. |

| My matcha has arrived (only 6 days, fast as always). I will try it tomorrow, and will surely have then some questions to ask. |

I have just had my first matcha (Kaoru supreme).
With the instructions given, it wasn't too difficult to brew. The deep green color is beautiful (I prepared it in a white matcha bowl). I managed to obtain acceptable foam and good dispersion of the tea particles in the water.
The result was enjoyable, but a little weak because I think I overestimated the quantity of matcha when using the teaspoon.
I have now to perfect my technique and compare this great tea with other matcha.
Thanks to all matcha enthusiasts whose comments made me try matcha and to Kevin for selling so many good teas!
I now have a question: which matcha should I buy now? I would like to have a matcha different as much as possible from Kaoru supreme. |

| IMO, the Chiyo Mukashi is the most distinctive Uji matcha I've tried so far. |
