I have a question regarding matcha. I purchased a matcha sifter from O-Cha.com and was wondering if I can just sift all of my matcha from the original container into the sifter and then put the sifter (with the matcha) in the fridge. Would this hurt the taste of the tea. I figure that by putting the sifter in a ziplock bag it will help to keep other odors from getting to the matcha.

Thanks

Hi,

I'd sift it as you use it, mainly because it can re-clump up.

I would also reconsider putting an opened container of matcha back into the fridge. Not only could condensation become a problem, but zip top bags aren't 100% airtight or odorproof.
