I recently bought a white tea flavored with peach. I find that after the first brewing the peach is nearly undetectable. Is that to be expected? Is the essence (meaning the white tea) still useful at that point? Or should it just be brewed longer? The maker recommended 5-6 minutes, but I used 1:30 and the first brew was fine.

There are several types of white tea. I used to import "silver needle" and I brewed it just like gyokuro - a lot of leave, longer time, lower temperature.
