i have been drinking the store bought green tea for about 5years now, and i love it. i even had a shirt made about green tea, and at school thats what most people know me as, as the green tea dude. and i am wondering is there any package i could buy or something to get me started on the real way to make green tea.
iv been looking at the tempguns and stuff like that but is there a kind of greentea i would ave to buy? becuase like i said the last 5 years i have been drinking Celestial seasonings green tea and its been great but is that considered real greentea? |

| Yes that is green tea. However it is a low quality one. The real tea I assume you would be reffering to is loose tea. Where it is not prepackaged in a tea bag. Good loose tea I have found is expensive but if you look in various places you may find a good one. |

Hey You from Texas,
If you are new to Japanese green tea, the S200 Kabusecha is a great place to start as is the daily sencha.
If you have the green to shell out for perhaps the best green teas on the planet, the gyukuru is so...ummm...just soo freakin' nice, slightly sweet with a faint floral character.
If you want to try something rather potent in Japanese green tea, the 2006 Shincha Hatsumi will rock your world, be prepared to experiment a little with the brewing of this one. |
