How to differentiate between "China Jasmine Pearl " and "Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl" tea.
I had read at some website that a characteristic of Guangdong Province Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl is its select fine pluckings (two leaves and a bud). Compared to the images of the regular China Jasmine Pearl tea from that site, the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls looked as if they were made from younger green tea leafs (silvery and hairy).
I am just wondering whether these are the typical characteristics for Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl.

Great, great tea...I tend to be pretty picky when it comes to ordering jasmine tea. Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl is the creme de la creme of jasmine tea...so smooth and mellow and relaxing and pleasingly aromatic...and good for at least 3 quality infusions. I will only buy from suppliers I trust who clearly name it...otherwise who knows. There are several grades of jasmine pearls. I know that for a fact. I have already gotten one that I KNOW after tasting was "flavored" with jasmine extract instead of scented the authentic way with jasmine blossoms during processing. YUCK!!! Always order it by the name that you want...period...from a supplier that you trust.
And yes they are silvery and hairy, appearing quite like a rolled up white tea. They unfurl to 2 leaves and a bud.
